Lilac purple flowers and dark purple leaf in new growth.
Selected and named by Ton v.d.Hoorn from Niewveen who purchased his original Hoya carnosa ‘Compacta’ from Marin’s Cactus Patch in 1982. It developed an unusual offshoot which he propagated and developed to bring this cultivar to the Netherlands where it has been in cultivation for many years. Name established Horn,T(1986) Hoya Nieuwsbrief No.4 p.30; publication of IPPS. This was also stated to have been named at Aslmeer and is still on display.
Dark purple new growth and lilac blooms. A tight growth pattern similar to Hoya carnosa ‘Regalis’ and ‘Hummel’s Krinkle Kurl’.
