Status: an invalid name which so far only refers to the accepted name ‘Rainforest Beauty’. Because albomarginata is commonly used to refer to a characteristic, it may not always refer to this cultivar into the future and is not an established synonym.
Published in Hoyatelegrafen nr 2,2007, the epithet was not enclosed in quotes but both Hoyas from cultivation compared and described, and found in the market with this name are ‘Rainforest Beauty’.
Note: Any prospective new cultivar selected for differences from Hoya ‘Rainforest Beauty’ (or any species or cultivar) would need its own acceptable name and description.
